Good to see a woman talking about this, it seems rare… and from what Ive seen and among my friends girls seem less responsive to economics and, perhaps especially, alternate theories as to how society should be run (ones based on counter-intuitive logic).
What is even better to see is the fact that this is a young woman reading Murray Rothbard. Shoot, I didn’t start studying economics until I was well into my twenties. Seeing a young person researching this subject (especially the writings of those from the Austrian School) is nothing short of spectacular.
When you have a real education in economics you can feel like a person with perfect vision in a land of near-sighted people. Its all so frustratingly predictable.
Interestingly Rothbard calls for credit contraction and it was exactly that (a credit “freeze”) that was used to justify intervention.
The economy is like a heroin addict that requires ever more just to function, until it finally hits bottom and Dr. State’s prescription is more still.
Rothbard rules!
A+ Keep reading Rothbard, Hayek, etc.

Did your public school teacher tell you to read “America’s Great Depression”?
Seriously though, how did you come to learn about Rothbard? I’m always interested in libertarian testimonials
